PORTRAIT Live - July 2011 opening track from their new album "Crimen Laesae Majestatis Divinae"
had great time at BYH fest- primarily there to see the mighty PSYCHOTIC WALTZ - but also checked out this amazing band- old school Mercyful Fate influences and amazing vocalist.
nearly got thrown out for filming this as apparently no video cameras allowed- lol
Not bad quality wise. Enjoy and spread the word.
PORTRAIT is:

Per Karlsson - Vocals
Richard Lagergren -Guitar
Christian Lindell - Guitar
Joel Pälvärinne - Bass
Anders Persson - Drums

"Crimen Laesae Majestatis Divinae" "is an album transcending the most glorious moments of '80s heavy metal. . . You can only describe this album as the wet dream of any fan of heavy metal. [This] is metal in its purest form — relentless, energy-driven, complex, dark, catchy and HEAVY!"

Comments PORTRAIT guitarist Richard Lagergren: "The eight songs on 'Crimen Laesae Majestatis Divinae' constitutes PORTRAIT's by far darkest, hardest and most intense material to date.

"This album is an outburst of a long time of targeted hard work, an intense creative process and pure black magic. To hell and back and to hell again!
Thanks for watching.
