I recently took part in the Swiss Drum Contest in Altishofen and I had the chance to be the first person to present the solo. Unfortunately there werent a lot of people around to see it :P I've been playing for about three years now and this is the first complete Drum Solo I ever made. I created it in two weeks. For that, I'm pretty happy with the result. Please leave a comment telling what you think, so that I see what's good and what I can still work on. Maybe you should also know that the solo had to include different basic rhythms and rudiments. I think I concentrated too much on that and forgot to bring more dynamics and feeling into it... After seeing so many very talented Drummers I will have a totally different approach to my next drum solo and Im definitely gonna try again next year! Please check out my other videos and subscribe to my channel if you like what you see, because there will be coming a lot more drum vids in the future! =) And don't forget to leave a comment and a rating! Thanks for watching! Cheers JP PS: Sorry for the bad sound quality in the first part of the vid, I dont know why the Snare sounds so weird...
