African Rainbow Minerals has given its shareholders an interim dividend of R2.50 a share. It's the first time the mining house has done this, having always given shareholders one final year-end dividend. For the six months ended December 2017, the company reported a turn into profit of 1.9 billion rand. That compares favorably to the 293 million rand loss reported during the same period in 2016. Our markets anchor Nompu Siziba spoke with its CEO, Mike Schmidt and began by asking what he attributes to the company's 15 percent growth in headline earnings. For more news, visit: sabcnews.com
