How to remove FBI Moneypak virus "federal bureau of investigation international police association" and many many other ransomware viruses with this same procedure.

Easily remove this FBI Moneypak virus (FBI virus, Citadel Reveton) scam that thousands of folks have succumb too. This is in the ransomware family. You do not need to download more junk to remove this. That should be your last option. Your first option should be to do the easiest and safest method. And that is to do a system restore from a previous date. This will not remove any documents, videos, photos, etc, only your programs that you installed after your specific restore date of choice. Hopefully you have a restore point before you obtain this virus. All you need is at least one day prior to you getting this Money Pak FBI Virus and your computer will be good as new. 

Directions--

Go into safemode---Restart your computer (or if it wont restart, hold down the power button for about 10 seconds or so until it shuts off. Then power back on. While your computer is booting back up press the f8 key repeatly so you can access the "Windows Startup Screen" formally the "Advanced Boot Options" screen. Once here, you can choose Safe mode or safe mode with command prompt. Should the regular safe mode not boot into safe mode, then restart your computer and go into safe mode with command prompt. Once at the command prompt, type "explorer.exe" and press enter. This should get you into safe mode where you can see your GUI or icons and stuff on your desktop. 

Note-- if you have Windows 8 you can't get into safe mode by pressing F8. Look here for instuctions--http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/windows-startup-settings-including-safe-mode

Note-- Should you not be able to go into safe mode, go back into your Windows Startup Screen "Advanced Boot Options" and select "repair your computer" or "Restore your computer" depending on your Microsoft Windows version. Follow the prompts from here. This is another way to get info Safe mode to access your Restore points. 

Once in your computer is booted up into safemood, click on the start button and type in "restore". Then click "Restore" or "Back up and restore" from here follow the prompts and make sure you choose a date before you incurred this virus. Should you pick a wrong date, do this whole procedure over again and choose a date further back if you have it.

If you don't have a restore point or have one that is after you incurred the virus you need to eradicate this virus manually or by software. Should you need more assistance, comment in the bottom so i can assit you.
