Chris Gayle may have been one of the last picks in the Indian Premier League this season but the big-hitting West Indian sure does know how to entertain the audiences wherever he goes. Picked eventually by Kings XI Punjab for a base price of Rs 2 crore, he ended the season as their second highest scorer on the back of one century and three half centuries. The self-proclaimed ‘Universe Boss’ loves having fun both on and off the field; this was proved during a recent awards function. This time, Gayle was seen sharing the stage with Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma, leading the two Indian batsmen to perform a dance step at the award function. Shikhar then prompts Gayle to follow his celebratory move which Gayle of course obliges to so effortlessly. Gayle racked up Gayle scored 368 runs in 11 matches but his team could only finish seventh on the table. Sunrisers Hyderabad’s Dhawan, who scored 497 runs at an average of 38.23, including four half-centuries, on the other hand conceded the title to MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings in the final on Sunday.
