Officials were rescheduling cases at Court C of the Pretoria Magistrate's Court ahead of paralympian Oscar Pistorius's appearance on Friday on a murder charge. The local and internal cameramen and photographers were asked to leave the already crowded court room. Only a few were allowed to stay. Pistorius's sister Aimee and his father Henke hugged when they arrived and sat in the front row. After spending a night in jail, Pistorius arrived at court shortly before 9am with a jacket over his head and a policeman covering his face with a book as media surged towards him. The court session was expected to start at 10am. He was expected to apply for bail. The State said on Thursday it would oppose this.
