Youth Speaks' annual celebration of the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. held on January 15, 2018 at the Nourse Theater in San Francisco, CA. 

This year's theme was inspired by the Black women and women of color whose experiences and contributions to movements for justice have been systematically erased.

This piece is a griot - a group piece co-created by multiple poets.
