It's no secret Oprah Winfrey changes lives ... even for Oscar winning actors.

Jamie Foxx has revealed how the media mogul helped stage an intervention during his wild partying days over a decade ago.

Back around 2004, Foxx said he was drinking and "doing everything you can f****** imagine," when he got a phone call from Miss O.

"You’re blowing it, Jamie Foxx,’” the 49-year-old recounted to Howard Stern. “‘All of this gallivanting and all this kind of s***, that’s not what you want to do … I want to take you somewhere. Make you understand the significance of what you’re doing.’"

Winfrey organized a gathering of prominent actors at music legend Quincy Jones' house.

"We go in the house and there are all these old actors,” Foxx said. “Black actors from the ’60s and the ’70s. Who look like they just want to say, ‘Good look.’ They want to say, ‘Don’t blow it.’"

The intervention worked and had a profound impact on Foxx.

“To this day, it’s the most significant time in my life where it was, like, a chance to grow up."

A few months later, Foxx went on to the Oscar for Best Actor for his role in Ray.

Praise be to Oprah!
