Here's Metra F40PH engine # 147 passing through Austin and Lake on the Union Pacific West Line late at night. This is adjacent to the Austin CTA Green Line stop (where I was standing). This particular engine used to have an "Operation Lifesaver" sign and logo just aft of the cab and doesn't anymore. It's also been repainted with an "RTA" or Regional Transportation Authority that all CTA buses and trains bear, as well as Metra trains and locomotives and Pace buses. The first video clip shows 147 passing by Austin and Lake on the Union Pacific West Line. The second clip shows 147 being towed for repairs by a Metra switcher through Oak Par on the Milwaukee District West Line. Thanks for watching!
