CSX operates freight service on SEPTA's Bethlehem Branch from Philadelphia up to Telford, PA. Here, CSX 6056 is switching Moyer feeds in Souderton, PA at the Reliance Road crossing. The Telford/Souderton dividing line is just behind me. The Greenhouse tavern (great hot wings!) right by the tracks, is actually in Telford.

CSX usually operates here with a locomotive at each end for ease of servicing the various industries along the line. The 6056 is at the Southern end of the train and is responsible for switching the feed mill. Here, the locomotive has just pulled two idler cars out of the feed mill and is heading South. At the end of the video, you can see the other locomotive (that is on the Northern end of the train) sitting on the Northbound main.

There are two really cool pictures out on the web that were taken at this location. On one of them, the Chessie Steam Special, led by RDG 2101 is pulling the train South by here. The 2101 was restored after AFT for the CSS, at the Saucon Valley Roundhouse, located North of here on this line. I can't seem to find a link to this photo on the web....

The other cool picture, that Dale Woodland took of a Reading RDC busting through some snow drifts. Here's the URL:
