Bomb Plot Suspects Targeted Synagogue, US War Planes

A U.S. prosecutor says suspects arrested in an alleged plot to bomb sites in (the northeastern state of) New York were "eager to bring death to Jews". Three of four suspects appeared in federal court last week [Thursday, May 21st], on charges they planned to blow up a New York City synagogue, Jewish community center, and U.S. war planes. All four are being held without bail. VOA's Carolyn Weaver visited the New York City neighborhood the men targeted and has the story.
