Attempted WBAI Board meeting January 27, 2016 by Justice and Unity faction fails to achieve a quorum with only 12 of 24 members attending, because of boycott of meeting by the opposing Independent faction. Therefore the Justice and Unity faction conducts an open public meeting inviting comments from the audience. A claim that the opposing faction is boycotting because they don't care about WBAI is challenged. Both factions have used boycotting in the past to create quorum problems. Joe Friendly announces he will put both the Jan 26 meeting and this Jan 27 meeting up on youtube for WBAI listeners to view and compare, and pleads for resolving the faction fighting by focussing on the issues involved.
