US Economy Marks Third Quarter of Economic Growth

The U.S. economy grew at a solid pace in the first quarter of this year, fueled in part by increased consumer spending. The U.S. Commerce Department says GDP -- or the total output of goods and services produced in the country -- grew 3.2 percent in the first three months of this year, providing more evidence that the U.S. economy is on the rebound.
