About Master Of Orion 2 ['Moo2'] :

Master of Orion II: Battle at Antares [Moo2] is a 4X turn-based strategy game set in space, designed by Steve Barcia and Ken Burd, and developed by Simtex, who developed its predecessor Master of Orion. The PC version was published by MicroProse in 1996, and the Apple Macintosh version a year later by MacSoft, in partnership with MicroProse. 

Mal's Random Musing: Master Of Orion 2 or Moo2 as it is often called is one of, if not the best 4X turn based strategy game ever made. This IS the 4X title all others are compared to and with good reason. I have never tired of playing this game and that is saying something considering how long I have played it.  Replayability and customization to match a give players 'style' is are big reasons as to why. I highly recommend this game to any fan of 4X turn based strategy games!
