North Shore local Ezekiel Lau took home first place from the Vans World Cup on Sunday afternoon in exciting fashion to tie for first in the 2013 Vans Triple Crown of Surfing series. Taking down Damien Hobgood (USA), Raoni Monteiro (BRA), and Frederico Morais (PRT) in the finals at Sunset Beach, Lau made the islands proud waving a Hawaiian flag high over his head as he was crowned champion.
