Gujarat Congress President Arjun Modhwadia today criticized Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi for giving state guest status to a person like Raj Thackeray who according to Modhwadia had run hate campaign against Gujaratis living in Maharashtra. Modhwadia said he had a compact disc showing how Thackeray had spit poison against Gujaratis in Mumbai in past. Modhwadia said he was not opposing Raj's visit because that is not a culture of Gujarat which is known for its culture of hospitality. However he was opposing the state government spending money for Raj Thackeray's breaching the rule book.
