Thank you Ross Lav for hosting an epic bmx jam at Beenleigh skate park. All the boys showed to have a ride and catch up and chat. So many forgotten wild story got told and I saw some I Had not seen in over 20 years. I walked right past Jody Jarrott who was on the BBQ all day. He took care of me as a kid for over 10 years and I did not even recognize his face. At the very end of the day I yelled out this was epic " lets call today the 27th of JAN Ross Lav day and do this every year. The boys cheered and I hope to see you again next year. Happy birthday Peter James who had his 43rd birthday at beeno. Ross D Lavender has been a part of the Brisbane BMX scene for as long as any. As one of the unique riders who has been there from the start up until the present, het set himself the project of documenting a very unique period of time in its history: 1985 – 1995. Ross has just launched the website for Unscene, so head over to www.unscenehistory.com/wordpress/welcome/ to check it out and get a feel of what they are up to.
