DIY Mini NES Raspberry Pi Retropie soft power on/off control

Since I can't wait and don't  have the expendable income for the upcoming Nintendo mini NES I've decided to make my own better version with parts I have lying around. The Raspberry Pi A+ is running Retropie with a host of retro emulators and ROMs loaded up on a 32GB micro SD card. I've 3D printed the case on my Prusa i3 off Thingiverse and painted it up to match the NES color scheme. The biggest issue I've faced is the Raspberry Pi's lack of a power switch. So in this video I program a microcontroller to handle turning on and off the Pi properly. Now all I need to finish up is the wiring and final details.
