It was a big night for "The Help," where the primarily female cast garnered a LOT of recognition from their fellow actor peers. Viola Davis took home the award for best actress, while Octavia Spencer won for best supporting actress, and the film took home the evening's top honor for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture. French actor Jean Dujardin beat out the competition and took home the award for best actor, while Christopher Plummer continued his winning streak for his film "Beginners" and left with the Best Supporting Actor award. Switching gears into the world of television, HBO's "Boardwalk Empire" found success in the Best TV drama AND Best TV drama actor categories, with Steve Buscemi walking away a winner. Critically acclaimed and 2-time Oscar winner Jessica Lange won for her role as an intrusive neighbor on FX's "American Horror Story," while "Modern Family" was named Best TV Comedy, and Betty White and Alec Baldwin won trophies for their respective comedic roles on "Hot in Cleveland" and "30 Rock."
