Another request received this morning just before I set out on my Thursday walk, so I have not had a chance to look at it until now. It is another song from the late Ronnie Drew of the Dubliners and again as it is from a period after I stopped collecting their LPs I did not know it before hearing it today. There is no way I can attempt to play the beautiful accompaniment they use, but I have improvised a couple of guitar breaks, making it up as I go along. I like the song and will definitely be singing it regularly from now on. It has also been recorded by Jimmy Nail during a spell when he combined his career as a successful actor with a parallel one in the pop business.
