Bush, Congressional Leaders Meet on Financial Bailout

U.S. lawmakers are struggling to reach an agreement on a bailout of troubled financial firms. President Bush has been urging Congress to quickly pass a $700 billion rescue package. Late afternoon Thursday at the White House, the president discussed the plan with congressional leaders and the two candidates for president. But there was little sign of progress. VOA's Deborah Block reports.
