This bee hive was an exposed hive located in a brushy area near Los Indios, TX. The Construction company that called Luis Slayton out to to save the bees was clearing way for electric poles that are to be installed. It was imperative that the crew got back to work so they cold meet the completed date deadline. Luis Slayton decided to place the hive in a bee box and hive them out at a different area. Not to many stragglers were left behind due to the cool temperatures that morning. Luis Slayton took the bees to one of his rehab centers for his rescued bees. This is where he hived out the bees and finds the queen bee. He gives here a "Queen Kiss" and thanks our Almighty Father for allowing him to do what he does.
