Here's the status of my team: Fearow Lv23, Flaaffy Lv23, Furret Lv23, Geodude Lv24, Croconaw Lv24, Weepinbell Lv24This is by far a real hard Gym battle especially since the gym leader here is using Ghost-types. To make matters worse, these Ghost-types can really make the fight really hard if you don't know what you are doing.He has the following Pokemon in his party:Gastly Lv21, Haunter Lv21, Gengar Lv25 and Haunter Lv23What's tough about Morty is that all his Ghost-types are fast and can hinder you with sleep status thanks to Hypnosis and using Curse to inflict curses on your Pokemon draining their HP each turn until they are knocked out. If you have at least a Normal-type Pokemon with a strong attack of a different type, you can take Morty's Pokemon down easily since Ghost can't do damage to Normal-types. Other than that, use strong attacks and they'll go down but be prepared to have some Pokemon knocked out. Trust me, it happened to Flaaffy so you need to pack plenty of Revives.When you beat him, you get the Fog Badge which allows the use of Surf outside of battle not to mention that Pokemon up to Level 50 will obey you. You also get TM30 which teaches Shadow Ball. In the original Gold and Silver, he's the same so expect a tough challenge.Disclaimer: Pokemon belongs to Nintendo and Game Freak.
