Early in my Presentation Magic Powertools workshop at Macworld 2010, I used Keynote to emulate Penn and Teller's "7 elements of magic" musical video. Good presentations don't just inform, they entertain, and Keynote's builds, animations, and transitions can be used to keep audiences engaged much like magic keeps us entranced even when we know we're being fooled. Psychologists and presenters have much to learn from magic, one of the oldest performances arts.
