Lieutenant Joe Mondo, one of the two soldiers who were allegedly assaulted by Port Moresby police on New Year’s Eve, appeared for mention today at the Boroko District Court.

Lieutenant Mondo was charged under the Firearms Act for being in possession of an unlicensed pistol.
