Red Light Camera Ban Begins

Red light cameras on state and federal highways were turned off today at midnight. The ban was announced two months ago after the State Transportation Commission said no proof or studies show that these devices make intersections safe. Cameras were turned off in Albuquerque, Santa Fe and Las Cruces this morning.
