This is a fight against the secret boss of Tokyo Xanadu, Nine-tailed Fox. It's easier than Princess of Doom and is almost identical to another fox boss we fought so I don't really consider it a final boss.

Nine-tailed Fox has all the moves the fox boss had from about halfway through the game before. It's more aggressive and hits harder, having some claw swipes, slam attacks, a laser beam, and a dash attack. It can change its elemental weakness and it will sometimes stop fighting to go eat food and heal. Just let it heal because you can EASILY out damage how much he heals and he's wide open when he does it.

Once the boss drops to half HP, the fight gets awesome. It plays the vocal song from the Tokyo Xanadu OP and the boss gets serious. As it does this, it will do a massive AoE that hits for a TON of damage and is hard to avoid. It can do this attack again later, but it's rare. You may have to heal after it. Its shockwaves get more deadlier and have more range, and it can summon fireballs around it to make approaching it harder. It will also sometimes create a barrier, which you will then have to get in close and use a power attack or a special move to break it so you can keep up long range attacks. There's no second form here, so just give it everything you've got and tear into the boss.
