Fumage [Smoke] artist Anathi “Elpee” Nkanyuza dropped by kaya House earlier today to give us a demonstration. Anathi Elpee Nkanyuza is a dedicated artist who has no fine art qualification nor any background education concerning art. he’s simply a self-taught artist with passion for it. Ever since he discovered fumage[smoke] art in 2015, Elpee has not looked back. He is also the founder and curator of Elpee's Art Gallery, a mobile gallery which specializes in Pop-up art events like pop-up exhibitions, performing arts etc. And we have now embarked on a new journey of using waste materials to create artworks and we're working with schools, orphanages.
