- If we are followers of true fiqh, why do these tragedies happen to us?
- Looking at the purpose of life, Allah has created the Heavens
- In order to reach the Heavens we need to pass tests presented by Allah
- Sura Ankabut: "Do people think that just by saying "amanna", they will not be tested and put to trial?"
- Sura Ankabut: "Its not only you who will go through that process, all Muslims will have to go through this process and all those before you too"
- This is so Allah can see who is true in claiming Emaan and who is deceiving
- There are different ways in which people are tested:
1. Through the environment of insecurity to observe a person's reactions
2. Hunger
3. Various types of loss: loss of wealth, loss of your own life for the sake of Allah, loss of your own children 
- How accepting are we of these tests?
- These are the people for whom the blessings of Allah and his mercy comes and these are the people who are truly guided
