COPE lays criminal charges against Mbalula for Dlamini-Zuma's VIP protection

COPE has laid criminal charges against Police Minister Fikile Mbalula at the Garsfontein Police Station in Pretoria, for providing former AU Commission chair, Dr Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma VIP protection. COPE says it has reported Mbalula to the Police for abuse of power. According to the Presidential Protection Unit's mandate, the protection is provided to the president and deputy president of the country including former presidents, foreign heads of state and their spouses.
