Arena: Maze of Death is a "3D Isometric" action adventure game where you must dodge deadly lasers, defeat respawning bad guys, ride platforms, and do a variety of other things to make it out of dozens upon dozens of rooms alive. The game has a lot of levels and you have to do some exploring to find keys and such to make your escape. Humorously, I think the guy looks kinda like Street Fighter II's Ryu when you pause your game.

You can move in every direction and use various types of guns (multi-directional shot, laser beam, etc) to beat guys. When all else fails, you can even stab guys with a knife, though I wouldn't recommend it. The music in the game is okay; I don't find it to be something that I'll remember when I turn the game off, but it helps to set the mood of the game...you feel like a loner desperately trying to find the exit, lol. Anyway, it's a pretty solid game.
