I tend to play vertical shmups more than horizontal ones, but I love this game to death. This was one of those games I played in the arcade while surrounded by other shooters, so I totally forgot about this game until around 7, or so years ago. The music (especially the first bonus stage, second stage, third stage, and second bonus stage) just doesn't let up with it's greatness. 

The game doesn't give you much in terms of weapons, but it's definitely enough to get through. Plus the beam fights are fun. The ship is slow, but the hit box seems to be generous. 

This one took me a long time to do (started practicing around the same time as Rayforce). I have to thank J.Boorman whose incredible run really helped me figure out how to get through the last stage.  I still can't no miss this game, but I did try to make things entertaining by doing some fancy tricks. It didn't always work out, though.
