The University of Birmingham, working collaboratively with the Deaf Education Advocacy Fellowship teamed up to support students who are deaf or hard of hearing to host a joint event to provide information, advice and guidance and raise aspirations about university and the support that is available for undergraduates. D/deaf undergraduates from the University of Birmingham delivered talks about their experiences of being D/deaf at university and the support they received from Student Services and what strategies they used in lectures and seminars.
