Since both cars reach 100kmh in 3.2s, this would reflect a rolling start drag race between the mclaren and a bugatti from 100.
The Bugatti Veyron went ahead of the Mclaren F1 by about 10m (2 car lengths) by 10s, but then the F1 caught up by 14s, and was ahead by 24m (5 car lengths) at 21s. It was a really close race indeed.

This drag race shows that a mclaren f1 driven properly can keep up with a bugatti veyron, and that the TopGear race might not be a sham after all.
