I've been sittin' on this song for a few years, so I figured "Oh hell, might as well post it!". Between 1971 and 1987, Ernie only hit the charts 4 times, this being the one that hit the lowest (#91 in 1979). Still active in the music business with his own studio and also recording gospel music, he's well worth a listen (at least with the few songs of his that I've heard!).
