Katarina is a fairly straight forward character. Mixing up her d/f+1, b+1, and d+3 to go with her jab pressure can help you open your opponents up for riskier reads with her d/b+3 sweep, and her amazing u/f+4, 4 hopkick. If you need range for whiff punishes, her d/f+2, 4 or d/f+2, 2 can both work wonders and her d/f+3+4 is an incredibly long range, but risky low that you can use to make your opponents think more about their approach from far away. If this low lands on counter hit, she gets a free follow up of a stomp, f, f+3, or FC d/f+4. Her rage drive isn't too great outside of adding a bit of damage to the end of her juggle and giving her solid oki afterwards though.
