This is a light powered rotating device that I call my 4evr Spin.  A  solar panel gathers energy into a 2.7v / 10F supercapacitor that powers the drive unit.  More energy is gathered by the solar panel than is needed so energy builds up in the supercapacitor during the daylight hours.   A white LED is used as a voltage limiter to help keep from overcharging the capacitor if there is too much light.  In the dark hours the device continues to rotate on the stored up energy.
