More than 40,000 served with “not to land” notices this year

Some 43,429 foreigners were not permitted to enter Malaysia this year as they were served with “Not To Land” notices. Immigration department director-general Datuk Seri Mustafar Ali said the move was part of the department’s proactive efforts to tighten border security nationwide.
