Just me playing Super Mario Advance 2 on the Yoshi Challenge, to test my new settings to capture video using Hypercam on Windows 7 and as you can see even for the 360p as the max quality this video has on youtube, it looks quite good. For anyone interested here is what I did. 1. First I followed the solution for the recording too fast issue with Hypercam on Windows 7 which you can find on the following video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9diHwTSOAjI 2. for video codec I used the full frames (uncompressed) codec. Now this generated me a 3.11 GB video file for this 5:55 minutes long video but don't worry, in the next step we gonna fix that. 3. Set the program to record 30 fps, it automatically will set the play on the same value, leave cursor/full frame capture ratio value in 1 and leave key frames value in 0. Also don't forget to set the area size you want to record in the screen area tab of the program. After all that is done, you can now record your gameplay. 4. When the video capture is done, the next step for us is to use the program Virtualdub. With this program we will convert our video to a nice small sized video without losing quality. For this, make sure you also have the DivX codec installed and that you can get from www.divx.com. 5. In Virtualdub we gonna open the video we just created, and on the menu video we make sure to select full processing mode and on that same menu we click on compression and select the DivX codec, make sure to select the one that says "X" logical cpu's between parenthesis where "X" is the number of cpu cores you have. Click on configure to configure the codec to use a profile you want for your video at your preferences. In the sound menu make sure to enable the full processing too and in compression select mp3 (if available) at your own quality preference. In my case I selected a 44100 hz 128 kbps stereo quality. With that done simply go to file menu and click on save as avi and save your video with any name you want and just wait for virtualdub do the work for you. The time the processing will take will depend on the time length of the video and obviously your PC speed too. In my case on this video it took around a couple of minutes or so. The final result was a 135 mb file for my video. Of course the file size will depend on your video length, the quality bitrate and profile you chosed to use on the DivX codec configuration. Well that would be all, any doubts you always can ask on the comments ^^ Oh, and sorry about the flickering coins, that wasn't effect of the capturing program at all, it was a different issue ^^U
