2015 Volvo V60 Cross Country Wagon Official Video HD

The 2.5-liter turbocharged inline 5 is a beauty of an engine that Volvo’s been using forever — for good reason. It puts out a perfectly adequate 250 horsepower; but what’s really impressive is the 236 lb-ft of torque that comes in low in the rev range and stays all the way up to the 6,500 RPM redline. I found that even though the car (especially in the slightly clunky sport mode) really wants to drop a cog when you mash the accelerator, it often feels just as quick to stay in the same gear and experience how good the engine feels from 2,500-4,000 RPM. The whole kit is mated with the latest generation of Haldex AWD that will send up to 50 percent of the power to the rear wheels once it detects about 20 degrees of wheel slip. The funny upside of all this (aside from fantastic grip on loose surfaces) is that you can actually turn the stability control off and oversteer the car with enough throttle (and some really obnoxious driving). I promise there is no faster way to make your four passengers and two dogs vomit than drifting a 3,600 pound station wagon.
