Rinpoche began by reminding us that we have taken the eight Mahayana precepts with bodhichitta, to free the numberless sentient beings from oceans of samsaric sufferings and to bring to peerless happiness. Achieving nirvana for oneself is the abandoned, in the Mahayana path. Cherishing I is from where all the suffering comes from. One who wishes to save oneself and others quickly, then exchange oneself and other. First thing is to change your mind from self-cherishing thought into cherishing others. We must generate bodhichitta in our mind, that should be the main aim of living the life. The buddhas checked for eons what is the most beneficial for sentient beings, that is bodhichitta. Rinpoche reminded us that all the problems come from the self-cherishing thought. The real enemy is the self-cherishing thought. In reality there is no enemy outside, only in your mind, the self-cherishing thought. Cherishing the mothers and leading them into happiness, that is the door to receiving all the happiness. You are just one, but cherishing others, they are numberless. Rinpoche said if you cherish, especially the enemy, who harms you, there is enlightenment. If you don't cherish, there is no enlightenment.
