Pat DBZ Barry vs Lavar Johnson - Fight Video Prediction

Heavyweight strikers Pat Barry and Lavar Johnson will square off in what should be an exciting bout, while it lasts. Each fighter is coming off big wins over the last month and neither has put on a boring yet.

Barry (7-4) got himself a much-needed win at last month's UFC on FX 1 event with a first round knockout of Christian Morecraft. Barry had lost two in a row before his win over Morecraft, a win in which he showed an improved ground game that aided in his win. The former K-1 kickboxer has always had the striking to end the fight at anytime, but added even the slightest ground game will only aid the 5′-11 heavyweight.

Though he most likely won't need that ground game in this fight.

Johnson (16-5) came over from Strikeforce to face Joey Beltran at UFC on FOX: Evans vs. Davis and shocked fans with a stunning display of striking that knocked out "The Mexicutioner" in the opening round. Like Barry, Johnson was also on a two fight skid before his UFC debut and like Barry; Johnson is also a dangerous striker.

When these two-step into the Octagon it will be the kickboxing of Barry against the Muay Thai of Johnson, making it the perfect fit for the "exciting" UFC on FOX 3 card.
