Date/Time: 10/27/2017 - 12:11am Location: Piccard Ave. & Del Sol Blvd. (Otay Mesa West) City: City of San Diego Incident Details: The California Highway Patrol was in a pursuit that started in Chula Vista when a Motorcyclist failed to yield to an officer. The pursuit went through a portion of Chula Vista and I-805 freeway with the suspect reaching speeds up to 120 M.P.H. Once back on city streets, the motorcyclist ditched his bike on Enero Court. The suspect than hopped over fences and make access through a sliding door at a house on the 1200 block of Piccard Ave. After setting up a perimeter, California Highway Patrol along with assistance of San Diego Police, entered the home in which they believe the suspect to be hiding in. Officers cleared the house and removed occupants of the residence and the alleged suspect. CHP and San Diego Police are reviewing footage from the San Diego Police helicopter to positively identify the suspect. The man detained was arrested for 4 outstanding warrants and awaiting verification from the police footage.
