Chinaman Kuldeep Yadav tore apart the England top order becoming the first left arm spinner to clinch five wickets in T20I match as India restricted the hosts to 159 for 8 in their quota of 20 overs in the first match of the series at Old Trafford on Tuesday. Kuldeep picked 5 for 24 on his four overs taking apart the entire England batting order. After winning the toss Virat Kohli invited England to bat first. The hosts got off to a flying start scoring 50 for no loss in 5 overs. India got their first wicket in form of Jason Roy who got castled after scoring 30 runs. Post Roy, Alex Hales and Jos Buttler carried forward Englan’s inning with responsibility. But as soon as Hales departed for 8 in the 12th over, rest of the England batting order collapsed like a pack of cards. Kuldeep bowled with accuracy and precision and batsmen had no clue what they were dealing with. Jos Buttler was the top scorer for England with 69 off 46 balls. For India, apart from Kuldeep, Umesh Yadav and Hardik Pandya picket two and one wicket respectively.
