FDA has continued its operations on checking fish in wholesale market and at check posts. Around 17 fish trucks were intercepted and checked at Margao wholesale market and found negative for formaldehyde. 5 fish trucks for export where checked at Polem check post amongst which 4 were sent back. While, 4 trucks were stopped for checking at Patradevi check post and 3 were sent back. Meanwhile, Iva Fernandes has been posted at Margao wholesale market for checking quality of fish at wholesale market and check posts.
