Hey guys. I've been wanting to do an Owl City cover for a while now, and I ended up doing a cover of a cover. Adam Young posted this version on his blog some time ago and there's just something about how he arranged it that made this version my absolute favorite. It's just...intimate. He didn't go over board with effects, but after having tried to reproduce it, I came to appreciate the hard work he put into his recoding. It's SO CLEAN whereas my efforts resulted in a messy track, but I'm sure I'll improve once I start learning how to mix tracks properly on Logic. I FINALLY upgraded my computer and a friend hooked me up with a new editor! (I used to use GarageBand but am now learning Logic Pro 9). I learned the song in about 10 mins but it took me WAAAY longer to learn how to do some of the basic stuff in Logic. Happens when you start using new programs. :) I got frustrated and ended up remixing/recording everything about 3 times. This is the best that I can do with what I've learned so far. I hope you guys enjoy it. It just seemed fitting since Easter is right around the corner. Oo and I'm sorry. I know I'll get asked this but I don't have any sheet music for this. Just learned it by ear. Hopefully some of you will be able to follow along.
