Looking to add a pet to your family? Then check with the people at Corpus Christi Animal Care Services. They are looking for permanent homes for the animals they care for, including our featured Pet of the Week.

Paris is a 3-year-old American Pit Bull mix. She was previously adopted, but circumstances in the home dictated that she be taken back by CCACS officers and once again placed for adoption. As a result, this very sweet and loving girl has been spayed, is up-to-date on all of her shots, and is ready to go to a new home where she will be well-cared for and treated as a family member.

As is the case with many of the strays from this area who are brought into the CCACS facility, Paris is heartworm-positive. It is a condition that is easily treatable, and whoever chooses to adopt her will be given the guidance they need to keep her healthy. In some cases, financial assistance may also be provided in order to help her new owner with the cost of medication.

To learn how to adopt any of the animals at the 2626 Holly Road facility, just drop by any Monday through Saturday from 1:00 to 6:00 PM. You are welcome to bring your children or any current pets you have, in order to spend time with any animal you may be thinking of adopting. Then, if you happen to connect with a pet you would like to take home, simply fill out an application.
