The historic heart of Wausau Wisconsin, once the site of our 3rd County Courthouse.  Now 're-invented' as a city gathering space.  

The 400 Block in downtown Wausau was completed in 2011 to include a permanent stage, sound system, seating and landscaping, and a lighted fountain. This centerpiece of the downtown offers a great gathering space for activities, picnics or lunch, and hosts weekly concerts and other events throughout the year.

During the summer and fall months the 400 Block hosts Marketplace Thursdays, with food, seasonal produce and other assorted items for purchase. In winter it is home to an outdoor skating rink.
