A woman who faced animal abuse charges last year is trying to get her dogs back from the Carroll County Humane Society. Laura Shenk is in court, trying to get her dogs back after they were seized last year. She had been charged with animal abuse, but those charges were later dropped and the Carroll County Humane Society still has custody of the dogs.
