I'M LOOKING FOR A SWEETHEART AND I THINK YOU'LL DO, recorded c.1910 by Ada Jones & Billy Murray. This was issued on an Edison 4 minute Gold Moulded Amberol cylinder record and was part of a special set of 12 promotional cylinders in the "new" 4 minute format. This set of special cylinders was to be sold at a discount to anyone who wished to purchased an adaptor kit designed to upgrade the older 2 minute Edison cylinder phonographs to allow them to also play the new 4 minute cylinders. This particular one is SPECIAL G. It was played on an Edison 2/4 minute HOME model D cylinder phonograph and digitized using an Archivette microphone attached to the reproducer. Enjoy!
